       The Founder  

Mike Reinoso is a direct decendent of John Sutter and he works the land his ancestors broke over 100 years ago. The olives grown for Sutter's Gold Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EHEVOO) come from 110 + year old Mission and  Manzanillo olive trees. Grown and tended with love and care in the fertile soil and perfect temperatures of the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California, producing some of the best olive oil in the region, possibly the world. Our Early Harvest Olive Oil  is pressed hours after the olives are hand picked to ensure quality, producing a small batch product that is not only great tasting, but with long lasting health benifits you will enjoy long after leaving the dinner table . Whether for salad dressing, enhancing the flavors of your favorite dish or just by itself, we believe that you will find the flavor of our Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil to be the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
